Senior Pastor
Pastor Carey Hardy

Carey graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1977.  In 1984 he sold his pharmacy to go on staff of a Baptist church in Texas as Christian School Principal and Minister of Music. Carey moved to California in 1990 to study at The Master’s Seminary and graduated from there with a Master of Divinity degree.  From 1993 until 2006, he served on the pastoral staff at Grace Community Church.  Most recently, Carey was Senior Executive Pastor and Personal Assistant to John MacArthur.  He also shepherded a Sunday morning fellowship group of young married and young families.  In addition, his responsibilities included teaching in the annual Grace Church Shepherds’ Conference, as well as teaching on various issues related to expository preaching, theology, biblical counseling, marriage, and the Christian life at other churches and Bible Conferences around the world.  Carey was also an adjunct professor at The Master’s College and The Master’s Seminary.

Associate Pastor
Pastor Matthew McCarthy

In addition to his role as Student Ministries Pastor, Matt serves as the Associate Pastor of Twin City.  He has a B.A. in Bible and an M.A. in Biblical Counseling.  He currently serves as a board member for a non-profit group that is ministering in Southeast Asia and on the board of references for Sports 4 Him.  Matt is also the founder and executive director of the Focus Conference.
